Karen Dixon – Director & Recruitment Consultant

Karen Dixon, Managing Director of Family Match Ltd, has spent many years in the recruitment industry both in London, Winchester and the South of England. Karen has been involved with all levels of recruitment throughout her career and was part of the team responsible for the European expansion of a large American I/T and Engineering Recruitment Company. During her career, Karen Dixon has also held the position of Head of Human Resources at Board Management level for a National Recruitment Company based in Basingstoke.

As a mother herself, and having employed nannies and mother’s helps for her own daughter, Karen understands the daily difficulties that can face both her clients and their nannies. She can, therefore, offer them informed advice and guidance.

Karen is very “hands on” and works full time on the recruitment side of the company, which she thoroughly enjoys.  Together with Suzie Brushett, she divides her time between Winchester and London, interviewing candidates and liaising with clients in respect of their particular requirements.

Suzie has been working for Family Match since July 2004, and is involved in the whole process of recruiting nannies, liaising with families and making sure that the right match is made!

Prior to joining Family Match Suzie was responsible for recruitment within the Sailing Industry and for organizing sailing events throughout the UK . Suzie is able to utilise her past experience to ensure that Family Match maintains it’s reputation of professionalism, attention to detail and excellent client care.

Suzie is a fully qualified Recruitment Consultant having passed the Diploma in Recruitment Practice.  This training has provided her with an excellent knowledge in recruiting practice, employment law and interviewing techniques.

Suzie divides her time between both Winchester and London offices and is responsible for our recruitment practices and interviewing nannies in both locations. 

Suzie is quick off the mark, highly competent and has an inate ability to recognise excellence and ability in the candidates she selects for registration with our company.  She is able to provide in-depth advice and guidance for families on all aspects of employing a nanny, and fully supports the nannies registered with us until they have found their perfect position.
