Karen Dixon – Director & Recruitment Consultant

Karen Dixon, Managing Director of Family Match Ltd, has spent many years in the Recruitment Industry based in London, Winchester and the South of England.

Karen has been involved with all levels of recruitment throughout her career and was part of the team responsible for the European expansion of a large American I/T and Engineering Recruitment Company.

During her career, Karen has also held the position of Head of Human Resources at board management level for an international recruitment company based in Basingstoke.

As a mother herself, and having employed nannies for her own daughter, Karen understands the daily difficulties that can face her clients and their Nannies. She can, therefore, offer them informed advice and guidance.

Karen is very “hands-on” and works full time in the Company. Together with her
co-director, Suzie Brushett, she divides her time between our offices in Winchester and London, interviewing candidates and meeting new clients/families.

In addition to her recruitment role, Karen has responsibility for maintaining best business practice in order to ensure that Family Match retains its reputation as one of the leading Nanny Agencies in the South of England.

Suzie Brushett

Suzie Brushett DipRP – Recruitment Director

Suzie has been employed by Family Match since July 2004. She is actively involved in the whole recruitment process and is one of our most senior staff members. Suzie’s main focus is to ensure that our clients and candidates are happy with our service at all times.

Suzie divides her time between our London and Winchester offices interviewing candidates and meeting clients in both locations. She is also responsible for the management of our Administrative Team and our internal recruitment procedures, in order to maintain the highest level of candidate verification and excellent client care.

Suzie is a fully qualified Recruitment Consultant, having obtained the Diploma in Recruitment Practice. This training has provided her with in-depth knowledge in all aspects of the recruitment process including employment law and candidate selection and profiling. She is therefore able to provide advice and guidance for families on all aspects of employing a Nanny.

Prior to joining Family Match, Suzie was responsible for recruitment within the Sailing Industry and for organising sailing events throughout the UK. She is also mum to Emily (aged 3) & Zacary (aged 9 months) and juggles a full time career with the demands of home and motherhood!

Katherine New

Katherine New – Senior Recruitment Consultant

Katherine joined Family Match in March 2007 and is responsible for recruiting candidates and for finding the perfect match for each family! She is very popular with our families and candidates as she has a natural ability to identify the right qualities and personalities for each position and successfully put the two together.
Katherine is lively, bubbly and very down to earth. She is easy to talk to and always manages to find the time to listen and offer advice and guidance.

Katherine spends the majority of her time at our Winchester office but also assists the team in London when needed. With her positive approach and excellent relationships with candidates and clients, she always finds herself in great demand in both locations!

Katherine was previously employed as a Nanny and at supervisory level in a Day Nursery. She has a total of 25 years experience in the childcare profession, including three years as an Assessor and Trainer for one of the formal childcare qualifications.
Therefore she fully understands the high standards required when working with children and uses this knowledge to ably assist our clients in making the right selection.

In addition to working full time at Family Match, Katherine spends her time caring for her two teenage sons – and providing the inevitable taxi and catering services!

Nicola Bull – Recruitment PA

Nicola is responsible for the management of the administrative function for the company together with providing recruitment support and is based at our Winchester offices. She also interviews candidates and assists them with their search for a new position.

Since graduating from Cardiff University in 2008 with a BA (joint hons) Degree in Sociology, Journalism, Film and Media, Nicola has been employed in the Recruitment Industry as a Recruitment Administrator/PA.

Nicola efficiently supports our Recruitment Consultants in all aspects of the recruitment process. She is on hand to offer a friendly welcome and advice to all new enquiries from families and candidates seeking information on registering with our agency.
